About Us

Our story began on Great South Road in Penrose, where this company first planted its roots.

In 1999, Colin Plowman took ownership, renaming the company and relocating our factory to its current, purpose-built site on Maurice Road, also in Penrose.

With a vision for the future, we embraced a philosophy centred on investing in premium German Trumpf machinery, including one of New Zealand's first laser cutting machines.

Along the way, we have prided ourselves on building long-standing relationships. Some of our customers and staff have been with us for over 25 years!

We believe in open communication and encourage direct access to our management team, always welcoming customers for a chat whenever they drop by.

Over time, our commitment to innovation has never wavered.

In 2013, we purchased a Trumpf 5020 Robot Laser Welding Cell, still one of the only machines in Australasia, and in 2018, we added the Trumpf 6000 Combination Laser Cutting/Punching machine to our arsenal.

While our growth has been organic up to this point, a shift in focus will see an exciting expansion - broadening our range of services with the addition of high-tech fabrication.

We will continue investing in technology, and of course, prioritising the customer service we’ve always stood by - keeping customers informed and making sure we deliver their components on time and to spec.
